The APBS Podcast

The APBS Podcast, we Put the “A” in the Association for Positive Behavior Support launched in the Fall of 2021. It is hosted by PAD members, Muna Khalif and Tanya Misgen. The goal of the podcast is to provide access to evidence-based and effective positive behavior support practices related to the Association’s Mission, Vision, and Equity commitment.

The podcast focuses on promoting equity and inclusion across all areas of positive behavior support related to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities, working on changing systems, and historical information on positive behavior supports. For example, two of the most sought-after available episodes focus on the Association’s mission and commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and what Equity means to positive behavior support.

The APBS Podcast is available on a variety of platforms including the APBS website, APBS social media accounts, and anywhere podcasting streams are available. Episodes are also accessible to screen readers.
