What are the different registration options?
Both In Person and On Demand registration are available this year.
In Person attendees will have access to In Person sessions along with access to all Live Stream and On Demand sessions before, during and after the In Person Conference. In Person Attendees will also be able to attend the Wednesday and Saturday Workshops (for an additional fee) along with the Poster Session and Reception. Please note that meals are NOT included in conference registration.
The Saturday Family Workshop is available as a standalone In Person option available to all for $50. The workshop may also be added to the In Person registration option for the same price.
The On Demand portion of the 20th International Conference on Positive Behavior Support will include recordings of the General Session, 24 select In Person sessions with 2 recorded workshops available for an additional fee. All content being recorded for On Demand viewing will be marked with a star in the Agenda Program. A selection of pre-recorded content will also be included.
All On Demand content will be available approximately 2 weeks following the In Person conference and can be viewed within the Virtual Attendee Hub conference platform until June 23, 2023. Access to the platform will be provided prior to the In Person Conference.
On Demand content will heavily focus on sessions eligible for BCBA Type 2 CEUs and/or NASP CPDs.
What does On Demand Conference Access include?
The On Demand portion of the 20th International Conference on Positive Behavior Support will include recordings of the General Session, 24 select In Person sessions with 2 recorded workshops available for an additional fee. All content being recorded for On Demand viewing will be marked with a star in the Agenda Program. A selection of pre-recorded content will also be included.

What does In Person attendance include?

Will recordings of all sessions be available for viewing?
While all recordings are available to both In Person and On Demand Attendees, not all In Person sessions will be recorded.
Are meals included in conference registration?
Meals are NOT included in conference registration.
Will meals be available for purchase at the conference?
There will be cash stand options for Breakfast and Lunch on Thursday and Friday.
Can I earn CEU credits for attending?
BCBA Type 2 and Nasp CPDs will be offered at a flat rate of $50/$35 for APBS Members and $75/$45 for Non-Members respectively. Both In Person and On Demand participants have the option to earn credits when viewing approved sessions.
Details on receiving credits and approved sessions will be available on the website mid to late December.
A Certificate of Attendance will be available at the end of the conference for those wishing to submit contact hours to your professional development organization. The Certificate will be emailed to all conference attendees along with their post conference survey
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be requested in writing (email to ilene.page@apbs.org is acceptable) and received (not postmarked) in our office by 5 pm EST on March 18, 2023. Mailing address is APBS, PO Box 328, Bloomsburg PA, 17815. A service charge of US $35 will be assessed for processing refunds. APBS will verify receipt of payment prior to issuing a refund. All requests for refund should state the registrant's name and the amount of payment. All refunds of verified payments will be credited back to the original source of payment received. "No Shows" will be invoiced for the full registration fee. We regret that we cannot offer refunds for "No Shows"; however, substitute attendees are welcome without penalty.
How can I save on conference registration?
There are multiple ways to save on registration. Foremost is by holding an APBS Membership. APBS Membership entitles members to a significant discount on registration. View the Registration Fees here. If you are not already an APBS Member, you may add a membership to your registration to receive this discount.
In addition, completing your registration before the early bird end date of January 27, 2023 also offers savings and there is a small discount when completing your registration prior to Registration Close on March 3, 2023.
Finally, there will be a limited number of In Person Volunteer Opportunities for which registration is waived. View the Volunteer Information here. The waived registration includes the conference on Thursday and Friday only - not the In Person Workshops on Wednesday and/or Saturday.
Can I volunteer at the conference?
APBS is accepting volunteer applications for a limited number of volunteer opportunities at the In Person conference. By agreeing to complete a maximum of 6 volunteer hours registration is waived. Please note this does not include the optional workshops. View the Volunteer Information here
When does registration close?
Early bird registration closes on January 27, 2023. Pre-conference registration closes on March 3, 2023.
How long will session recordings be available?
Recordings will be available for 90 days following the conference--until July 1, 2023.
What types of presentations are included?
Presentations for the In Person conference include Pre-and Post-conference workshops, Oral breakouts, General Session, Poster session and all On Demand recordings in the conference platform. Presentations for On Demand Conference Access include recordnings of the General Session and 20 Breakouts sessions, and all pre-recorded breakouts.
Where is the conference being held?
The 20th International Conference on Positive Behavior Support is being held at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida.
In what time zone are live streamed sessions?
Eastern Daylight Time is the time zone where the conference is being held and the time zone for live streamed sessions.
Are workshops available to On Demand attendees?
Live Workshopattendance is available to In Person attendees only. However, two workshops will be recorded and will be available to On Demand attendees for a separate fee.
