Important Information for Accepted Oral and Poster Presenters

  • Please note that screens will be the only equipment provided for presentations during the conference. You are encouraged to bring your own LCD projector and laptop. Rental equipment will be available through the hotel’s audio visual company at your own cost. Please see how to make these arrangements below.

  • All presenters are expected to register for the conference.

  • Please bring handouts for your audience or make them available on your personal website. Feedback from attendees each year suggests that handouts are valued greatly by conference-goers. APBS cannot make copies of handouts at the conference, so please bring them with you, or make arrangements with FedEx Kinko's at the hotel. See below for more information.

Onsite Printing and Shipping

Posters will be presented Thursday evening from 6:30-8pm in conjunction with the conference reception.

Each presentation will be provided a 6'x30" table on which to display information and (upon request) a Tri Fold Foam Presentation Board. To request a board (36"x48"), contact Ilene Alvarez at ialvarez@fmhi.usf.edu. Those who have requested presentation boards can pick them up Wednesday March 26 from 5-7pm (during registration). Please note - We will only be ordering as many boards as are requested by presenters.

Poster presenters are not supplied with audio visual equipment, internet access or electrical power. For those sessions needing AV Equipment or internet access, please contact PSAV at 847-823-1177. For those requiring electrical power, please contact Kelly Woodworth at: kwoodwor@hyatt.com. The APBS Conference will not be responsible for the cost of these additional items.
