The 4th Annual PBIS Film Festival
The 4th Annual PBIS Film Festival will premiere at the Annual APBS Conference from March 28-30 in San Diego. Videos produced by teams, teachers, and students from all around the world that support their initiatives related to PBIS will be shared and judged in a number of categories. The categories include: Best Teaching Expectations (Elementary, Middle and High School Levels), Best Bullying Prevention/Awareness Video, and the coveted award for Best PBIS Picture. Participation in the Film Festival is free, and you do not need to attend the conference to participate (but is strongly encouraged). For schools that have already posted a video(s) online, the link(s) can be emailed to Michael Kennedy at the University of Virginia. Michael Kennedy will then send you the official entry form. If your school has a video on DVD or another medium, please email Michael to obtain his address. The deadline for submissions is March 18, 2013; however, please send your entry as soon as possible.
Previous Best PBIS Pictures are:
- 2010: "Garbagio",
Shawnee Mission West High School, Shawnee Mission, Kansas
- 2011: "Stand Up",
Madison School District in Madison, Idaho
- 2012: "Stripping the Label",

Other winners from the previous Film Festivals can been seen at PBISVideos.com (over 100 videos at the elementary, middle, and high school levels). Schools are encouraged to watch and share these videos, and then create and upload their own! Be sure to link your video to our PBIS Homegrown Videos page.
